Classic Editor and Classic Widgets PRO

by WP Grim

This plugin is a Premium extension for Classic Editor and Classic Widgets free plugin.

The free version of this plugin helps you to easily disable Gutenberg Editor totally everywhere and enables Classic Editor and Classic Widgets. Also, free plugin enables old-style WordPress Classic Editor for “Edit Post” with TinyMCE (WYSIWYG), Meta Boxes (Custom Fields), and others. Once activated, this plugin hides all functionality available in the new Gutenberg block editor.

Here you can see how Free Version works:

Choose Editor for User Roles

This feature allows you to choose a different Default Editor for every User Role on your website. By default, it’s the Classic Editor.

Choose Editor for Custom Post Types

You can choose a Default Editor for each Post Type, if your WordPress website has Custom Post Types. The Gutenberg Editor will only appear if the post type supports the Block Editor.

Remember Last used Editor

Enabling this feature remembers the last used editor and opens the Last Editor when you editing Posts/Pages. This feature works if you have enabled Allow Switch Editors option on your website.

Displaying Post States

After enabling the Allow Switch Editors option and activating the Pro Version, you will be able to see information about the Last Editor in the Post/Page State.

Exclude Posts/Pages

This feature allows you to exclude selected Posts/Pages, so the Gutenberg Editor will always be available for the selected posts. Selecting Posts/Pages by Title using Autocomplete is very easy and convenient.

This Premium version is fully compatible and works together with Free Plugin. It does not need to deactivate the free version.

Also, Pro plugin is always compatible with latest WordPress and PHP versions.
